Fresh yarn…

Ah the joys of working at a yarn shop…not only do I get to be surrounded by yarn and help people with their projects, but this week I got to witness the arrival of new shipments of yarn to KnitWit!

I got to open up one of the boxes too—it was just like Christmas.

Let’s see, there was some Berroco Vintage Worsted, including some new multicolored shades. And a bunch of beautiful skeins of String Theory Caper Sock yarn, and some ultra soft Frog Tree Alpaca Chunky. I think that might be my favorite…but I’m always a sucker for alpaca.

Because I couldn’t resist taking some photos, below are some shots of the goods:

  1. Oh how I envy you… access to piles of alpaca, working at Knit Wit, being just blocks away from the waterfront, living in Maine. Can we swap shoes for a day? I’d love to trade and see what your typical routine is like? I am in Boston and aching to plan a trip up to visit family and Knit Wit. Keep the pix coming!!!!

Hey Erin! I do feel quite lucky being able to work at KnitWit–I spent the last 10 years working in a cubicle, dreaming of what it would be like! Between working there and now working from home doing my own freelance work, I’m much happier now :-) I’ll definitely keep taking more pictures…and you will have to visit us next time you are up here!
