An easy and fast knit sized from XS-2X, this cardigan has raglan construction, worked from the top down, and completely seamless.Stitches are picked up to create the front bands and short rows are worked to create shawl collar. Pattern instructions are to make cap sleeves, but you can easily make the sleeves longer if you prefer. Worked up at 2.5 stitches per inch, you can start and finish this project in a week or less.

  • 448 (560, 560, 672, 672, 784) yds of super bulky yarn, shown in Puffin by Quince & Co (100% American Wool; 100 gram ball = 112 yds/102 m), 4 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7) skeins of main color (1 skein of contrasting color for striped version)
Needles and other supplies:
  • 24” / 61 cm circular knitting needles in size US 13 / 9 mm or size needed to obtain gauge
  • 8 stitch markers
  • 2 pieces of scrap yarn, around 20” / 51 cm in length
  • Tapestry needle or crochet hook to weave in ends
