Freeport Vest

Freeport Vest knitting pattern by Elizabeth Smith

Freeport is knit from the bottom-up and all in one-piece It’s a great project for a beginner knitter who is ready to try out a few new techniques, most notably short row shaping, the three needle bind off technique, as well as the Elizabeth Zimmerman “Phony Seam” technique (from her book “Knitting Without Tears.”) This technique allows you to get the look and feel of a side seam while still working your garment seamlessly—it’s quite ingenious!

A seamless knit using bulky-weight yarn and sized from XS-3X, Freeport will knit up fast and be a great addition to your autumn and winter wardrobe.
