This seed stitch buttoned cowl is a super quick and easy way to use about 100 yards of chunky-weight alpaca yarn. I used exactly 1 skein of Frog Tree Alpaca’s Chunky Alpaca yarn but other options are Cascade Baby Alpaca Chunky, Misti Alpaca Chunky, or Plymouth Baby Alpaca Grande (1 skein of any of these).

Gauge:
- 3.25 sts & 3.75 rws = 1″ in seed stitch on US 9 / 5.5 mm
Yarn:
- approx 100 yards of chunky-weight alpaca yarn, shown in Frog Tree Chunky Alpaca (109 yards/skein), color #41, 1 skein
Needles & other supplies:
- US 9 / 5.5 mm or size needed to obtain gauge
Tapestry needle or crochet hook to weave in ends
