Ponchetta is a small poncho/caplet, knit seamlessly and makes a perfect little layering piece. The body is worked flat on a circular needle (to accommodate the large number of stitches) from the hem to the shoulders. Then it is folded in half and left shoulder stitches are seamed together using the 3 Needle Bind-Off technique. Stitches are then worked in the round to create the cowl neck.
